Finding A Voice

[17:30 & 18:45] Harp performance and talk
Join Finding A Voice, Clonmel’s music festival celebrating Unforgettable Music by Remarkable Women, on Culture Night for an evening event at 5.30pm and 6.45pm on Market Place in front of the Borstal Gate (opposite Bodega Restaurant).
Rising star harpist Muirne Griffin will perform a 15 minute set of contemporary classical harp music including work by Henriette Renie and Pearl Cherlock, showing that our national instrument isn’t just for traditional Irish music!
Following the music, composer Kathy Purcell will talk with festival artistic director Roisin Maher about the festival’s annual Emerging Composer Competion which the festival runs in conjunction with the Contemporary Music Centre.
A relaxed and very accessible outdoor event that gives both arts aficionados and arts-curious audiences a short showcase of the best of what Finding A Voice does, building anticipation for our upcoming festival from 5th-8th March 2026.
