The Poetry Den

A cosy space for all to enjoy and share poetry

Designed as a comfortable, living room-type setting with couches, armchairs, coffee tables and soft lighting, the Poetry Den welcomes you in to read, discuss, share and even create some poetry of your own.

Created by Jenny Cox, with music by Purple Roses (6.40 – 7pm).

Poetry for Kids – hunker down on our colourful beanbags and have fun reading some silly verse from Michael Rosen or Roald Dahl.

Prompt Jar & Writing area – pick a prompt and be inspired.

Comfortable couches and a selection of poetry books – relax and take a moment.

Open Mic – 20 min open mic slot at 7pm.
