Storytelling & the Learnings from Slievenamon

Explore the damage, learn how the mountain will heal & listen to stories from its people

This Tipperary PPN event is open to community groups to visit Slievenamon mountain, in the aftermath of the summer wildfires with an ecologist, to explore the fire damage and learn how the mountain will heal itself.

After this there will be stories from local people, who were part of the community supports in that emergency followed by facilitated discussions on what communities can do as effective climate actions to lower risks and prepare more for future wildfire events.

This event will be held in the beautiful community hall, Killurney Community Hall, and there will be refreshments provided.

Space are limited and booking is essential!
