Join us for National Drawing Day at STAC, where we invite you to explore the art of portraiture in response to our 30th anniversary exhibition STAC at 30

Featuring contemporary work from our national collections from which to draw inspiration, this National Drawing Day step inside the exhibition at South Tipperary Arts Centre like you haven't before and get to know the process behind drawing portraits from life. Facilitated by artist Annie Hogg, STAC will be offering three, 45-minute portrait-drawing sessions in the gallery space, these sessions are suitable for adults.

These sessions are completely free and will operate on a drop-in basis. No booking is required.

Annie Hogg is a visual artist based in Co. Tipperary with a studio-based and collaborative practice using sculpture, installation and mark making. Her work researches power relations and resources. Aiming to see both human and other than human responses and outcomes to human-led situations. Material choices are made with the intention of furthering commentary and questioning of the world and her place in it. Annie graduated with a BA in Sculpture from Aki College of Art, The Netherlands in 2002. She has received several awards and supports, including from the Arts Council of Ireland, Tipperary County Council Arts Office, South Tipperary Arts Centre, Irish Hospice Foundation, K-Fest and Creative Ireland.
