Town Hall Open Day

An opportunity to visit the Council Chamber and discover its historical and political importance

Members of the public are invited to visit The Chamber in Town Hall, Parnell Street this Heritage Week.  Built on the site of an earlier building in 1881, during the mayoralty of Alderman Edward Cantwell, to house the Municipal Offices and the Council Chamber of the then Clonmel Corporation, the Chamber has witnessed historic and political developments over centuries.
