Storytelling Project Performance

Storytelling project with the Clonmel Day Care Centre for the Elderly and local artists

Clients of the Wednesday Group at the Clonmel Day Care Centre for the Elderly joined a series of storytelling workshops with theatre artist, Bea Conner-Peterson, writers Ethel Reynolds and Joe Whelan (Story Slam) sharing personal anecdotes and memories.

Participants worked closely with writers to shape the narrative, develop authentic characters and inspire themes for a 45-minute script. Their voices were integral to the creative process, and the resulting story truly reflects the richness of their lived experiences performed by actors.

There will be a 15 minute talk Q&A for the audience to speak to the writers at the end
