Plein Air Exhibition

Paintings created entirely on location during the Plein Air event (4-5/Jul)

This summer, linn gallery hosts the official exhibition for the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival’s inaugural Plein Air event. Bringing the vibrant, immediate beauty of the Tipperary landscape indoors, the showcase features a diverse collection of paintings created entirely on location over an intensive weekend (4th–5th July) by artists painting en plein air across Clonmel, Carrick, Cashel, and Cahir.

The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to view and purchase highly localised interpretations of familiar Tipperary landmarks and streetscapes, including the festival's official prize-winning works. Artists interested in registering to paint during the competition weekend can sign up online at junctionfestival.com. All are welcome to attend the opening launch on Tuesday, 7th July at 6:00 PM.
