Our Space our Place: Battle of the Bands

Clonmel Applefest is celebrating youth creativity in all its forms with a full day of youth arts activities at the Friary Car park in Clonmel. Ranging from Afro dance workshops to local dance showcases and an exhibition of work by young people living in direct provision, this day is meant to reclaim the public space for the youth of South Tipperary. 

Later on that afternoon, the new performance space at Friary car park will transform into a youth band venue with showcases from the Tipperary Battle of the bands finalists accompanied by a badge making stand and a Celtic graphic design clinic. YOUNG PEOPLE, put on your glam rags and reclaim the streets for your peers.
