A new chapter for art in Clonmel is set to begin! We are proud and excited to officially launch linn gallery with our inaugural exhibition, skylines, on Saturday, November 29th, at 2:00 PM. Located on the 1st floor of The Narrow Space at 14 Mitchell Street, linn gallery is incredibly honoured to be the exciting new chapter for this cherished Clonmel location, building upon the remarkable 22 year legacy established here. You will be delighted to know that The Narrow Space shop on the ground floor is still open and full of beautiful crafts for you to discover!
We extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the proprietor of The Narrow Space, Aisling Kilroy, whose dedication and passion has fostered such an important foundation for the arts in our community. Carrying forward that passion, linn gallery has a fresh vision: connecting you with the heart and soul woven into the best of Ireland’s contemporary art.
The inaugural exhibition skylines is central to the gallery’s dynamic vision. This group show features the work of seven incredible Irish artists: Alison Barry, Lynda Bremner, Eugene de Leastar, Gary Kearney, Marine Kearney, Diane Magee, and Lee Shanahan. The show invites the artists to look beyond the literal horizon, exploring the theme not only as depictions of urban or natural landscapes but also as beautiful representations of artistic innovation, personal journeys, and evolving perspectives.
