March for Peace and Irish Neutrality

March through the town centre, ending in a rally at the Plaza, organised by the Tipperary Neutrality Network

The Tipperary Neutrality Network will hold a March for Neutrality through Clonmel on Saturday 15th August, assembling at Westgate Car Park at 3pm before marching via O'Connell Street, Mitchel Street and Parnell Street to a rally at Kickham Plaza.

The march calls on the Government to abandon its plan to scrap the Triple Lock, the safeguard that requires UN approval before Irish troops can be sent to war.

Speakers include Imelda O'Donoghue of Action Against War and Owen Buchanan of the Tipperary Neutrality Network, with a Q&A and open mic to follow.
