Archaeology Summer Camp

Tipperary Museum of Hidden History and The Big Dig present Clonmel’s only archaeology summer camp. Aimed at Children aged 6–12 years with a curiosity about the past and how people lived, worked and played. The camp is suitable for those looking for an alternative to traditional summer camps. This fun camp combines the study of the past with arts and crafts and fun games and activities.

Activities can include excavation workshop, clay working, shelter building, coin striking, leather working, food and diet, combat, jewellery making and a water challenge amongst others.  A visit to a local visitor attraction is also included in the camp on the final day.

• Session 1: 30 June – 3 July

• Session 2: 7 July – 10 July

• Session 3: 14 July – 17 July
