What is Culture Night?

Culture Ni ght is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativi ty and the arts. A range of organisations present hundreds of FREE events, tours, talks and performances for you, your family and friends to enjoy.& nbsp;

This year, Culture Night will be celebrated on Friday 18 September. It will take place from 4pm till late.

Buildi ng on the success of previous years, County Tipperary will again celebrate Culture Night in 2026. Coordinated by Tipperary County Council, we are no w inviting arts and culture organisations, creative practitioners, artists , performers, community groups and schools to hold an event. 

< strong>What events are we looking for?

Ranging from live mu sic and arts events to book readings, outdoor projections on buildings or multicultural celebrations, Culture Night is about inclusion and particula rly suited to encourage  venues / locations to open their doors and n ew audiences to participate. We encourage and support participation by all voices and cultures that make up Ireland today.

Will funding be available?

Yes, funding is available, however applying for funding does not guar antee that your event will be funded. The maximum grant per event is €550. Please read the information sheet and application form and fill in Part C of the application form if you wish to apply for funding for your event. The deadline for funding application is 12 noon on Thursday 18 Jun e 2026. You will be notified if you have been successful with you r application in early July 2026.

If your event does not need fundin g, please also fill in the application form, as the Tipperary Arts office is coordinating all Culture Night events in county Tipperary and we want t o make sure your event is promoted on the national website to reach a maxi mum audience! If you do not require funding, the deadline does not apply, you can fill out the application form on an ongoing basis.
